So impressed with our designer, Samuel Ng, from THEOLDCOMPANY Pte Ltd. Samuel also did our website design. Samuel took the trouble to do a site visit with his partner, Derek, to take measurements. They came up with the artwork that very day and gave me a reasonably priced quotation for the 2 signages for the exact materials I wanted. Even did mock up pics so that I have a visual idea of how the signs would look. Most importantly, they committed to having the signages ready by the time we needed them next Tuesday.

Had gone to a “famous” signage company, where the “manager” insisted I had to give him my logo artwork in the “vector format”, the “pantone” for the colour and the name of the Chinese fonts we used even though I had already given him a CD with our logo in several different formats. Told me otherwise he would need 2 days to just come up with artwork. Kept insisting that I should not use stainless steel and wood for my signages and told me it would take much longer to fabricate and would be very expensive just to dissuade me. Keep persuading me to have acrylic signages instead. The poor service experience from the “famous” signage company forced me to think outside of the box and approached my website designer to asked if he did signages. Turned out to be a blessing! 😊

Samuel at THEOLDCOMPANY is a very customer-centric web designer who listens to your requirements patiently. After understanding what you want, he will quickly come up with a draft prototype to let you have an idea of the site structure and a feel of the design.

As the project progresses, he will fine-tune the site and develop the designs with a keen eye for details. He is also very open to feedback about his work and gets back with good alternatives. He took time to listen to what I wanted, brought in his own ideas, experience and creativity so the end design was much better overall!
